CAMY, (Center on Alcohol Marketing and Youth) a center located at Georgetown University revealed results from a study that analyzed magazine alcohol ads between 2001 and 2003. CAMY discovered over half of the ads studied were placed in magazines with a disproportionate readership of youth under the legal drinking age of 21, ranging from 12 to 20.
