Not Exactly Something For Nothing . . .

According to Independent Sector, the hourly estimated dollar value of volunteer time is $17.55 per hour. The figure is based upon volunteer hours for non-managerial and non-agricultural workers from 2004. A statistical summary is available on the Independent Sector site.
