Teens, NGO Work To Spark Sudan Awareness

Teens 4 Peace and Amnesty International will hold a rally that will begin in Dupont Circle in Washington DC and progress to the Embassy of Sudan. The rally is intended to increase awareness and protest indifference regarding the events taking place in Darfur, Sudan.

Teens 4 Peace aims to promote teen and public understanding and action toward social injustices. Amnesty International is a global organization focused on research and action for global human rights.

Teens 4 Peace is headquartered in Potomac, Maryland. Amnesty International has offices worldwide.

I support Teens 4 Peace on their rally to confront the Darfur genocide and speak bravely for those suffering in Darfur. I salute their voices and presence when some Americans are bystanders to this cruel genocide. It is great that teenagers are heeding to individual responsibility.
